In terms of environmental impact, and based on the original engine specifications were applicable, we will estimate and/or analyze the following:

• Mileage of the tractor
• Amount of electricity saved by charging the battery with solar panels
• Amount of electricity used during charging with a charger (used as back-up only)
• Amount of fuel NOT purchased
• Amount of CO2 NOT released into the atmosphere

We will gather the data throughout the growing season, and periodically post it here. 

We will also track all other uses of our PV installation (whenever the installation is not charging the tractor's battery, it will be available for charging all other farm's small battery-operated equipment).
